Insect GatePrivacy
Privacy
This site is a brochure. If you send the contact form, we store your name, email, organisation and notes so we can answer you. We do not sell that list.
Console data
When a site runs Insect Gate, the console holds unit names, counts, lure health, battery and unit health. Those records belong to the customer. We process them to provide the service. We do not need guest names, payment cards or CCTV. Keep personal data out of unit names where you can. "417 bed left" is enough.
Radios
Bluetooth is local. LoRaWAN uplinks are small telemetry. Neither is a microphone or a camera.
Cookies and analytics
A session cookie is used so the contact form can confirm it was received. We use Google Analytics to see which pages are read and which forms are used. It sets analytics cookies only after you accept them in the bar at the foot of the page; until then, and if you decline, it runs without cookies and cannot recognise you between visits. IP addresses are truncated. You can change your choice at any time by clearing the site's data in your browser.
Forms are protected by reCAPTCHA, which sends Google a signal about how the page was used in order to tell people from automated submissions. The Google privacy policy and terms apply to both services.
