What it is

A discreet floor monitor for crawling insects. A species-specific lure draws the target insect into a low, unmarked housing. Two analogue optical beams at each of four entrances record direction, timing and signal shape as insects pass. Events, lure health and battery are read over Bluetooth on site or sent over LoRaWAN to a console. The unit is never opened for inspection.

What it is not

Not an insecticide. Not a flying-insect trap. Not a camera. Treatment remains with the pest management programme in place.
