Insect Gate

The stack is dark. The count should not be.

Collections pest management already runs traps. Insect Gate adds a year-long lure and a number that arrives without opening the store. Grey on concrete, gold on timber, and no markings on either. Conservators still identify. The unit watches every night.

Silverfish rasp paper, labels, glue and silk. Grey silverfish have made that problem less seasonal and less tied to obvious damp. Firebrats hold the plant rooms. One species line covers both if you place it honestly: stack ends and skirting for silverfish, heat for firebrats.

We do not ask you to abandon a blunder-trap grid overnight. Run the gate on the aisles that matter most. Keep sticky traps where you still need a specimen on a card.
