Where beetles travel
Crawling beetles move along walls, racking and the residue around packing lines. Intake, packing dust and the returns aisle are where counts rise first, so density goes there. Quiet racking gets a wider grid. Flying moths belong in a hanging trap; this is a floor unit for crawlers.
A daily map without a daily walk
With a LoRaWAN gateway in the office, every unit reports overnight. The console shows which bay rose, which stayed quiet, and which lure is running low. Nobody lifts a unit or dates a tray.
The audit file
Retailer pest clauses want records. A year of timestamped counts per unit, exportable as CSV, is a stronger file than a binder of dated cards, and it exists whether or not anyone walked the floor that week.
